It is the mission of the Training and Safety Division to provide the most current and comprehensive training available to Fire Rescue personnel to facilitate safe, effective and efficient operations at all times. Training topics include but are not limited to the following:
Firefighting
Emergency Medical Services
Apparatus and Equipment Operation
Fire Prevention and Education
Hazardous Materials
Vehicle Extrication
Water Rescue
High Angle Rescue
Aircraft Rescue Firefighting
Incident Command / Scene Management
Firefighter/Paramedics participate in formal or informal training daily in order to maintain the high level of proficiency and operational readiness required to carry out their duties at any time under any conditions.
