Development
of a safer, more disaster resistant community through
the coordination and networking of first responder
agencies under an umbrella organization known as
Citizen Corps. Citizen Corps activities will be
designed to recruit, refer, and help provide opportunities
for education and training citizen volunteers to
prevent or mitigate disaster and to provide assistance
when they do occur.

The
vision of Boca Raton Citizen Corps and its affiliate
organizations is to:
Strengthen the regions ability to prevent crime and terrorism and respond to
emergencies.
Help our Community feel more prepared and secure.
Build stronger coordination and collaboration between all the organizations in
the City of Boca Raton. These groups are dedicated to making communities a better
place for all of our citizens and visitors.
Enable citizens and organizations to respond to the President’s request
for a more coordinated approach to Homeland Security and service to the community.
