Zoning

The City's zoning officers review all single-family building permit application for compliance with setback, height, and other regulations.  They provide information on flood zones and flood elevations.  When a new structure is built, the zoning officer reviews the survey to determine that the residence is being built in accordance with approved plans.  All sign permit applications are reviewed for compliance with code. All application for business licenses are reviewed for compliance with zoning regulations.
