The Recreator is distributed three times annually via The News and is also available in the lobby of City Hall and at other City sites. Call Recreation Services for information about the special events sponsored by the City of Boca Raton. Concerts, dances and holiday celebrations are some of the fun events that may be enjoyed free of charge.

The Sanitation Section of the Municipal Services Department provides recycling bins to City residents for the weekly collection of recyclable materials. Single-family residences receive 18-gallon bins for curbside collection and multi-family units receive 95-gallon bins for central collection. Newspapers, brown paper grocery bags, corrugated cardboard, magazines, catalogs and telephone books are collected from the yellow bins, and the blue bins are for the collection of aluminum cans, foil and pie plates, plastics numbered 1 through 7 (no plastic bags), milk and juice cartons, and clear, brown and green bottles and jars.
