Garage Sales
A permit is not required to hold a garage or yard sale. However, it is illegal to place signs in medians and right-of-ways or to tack signs on utility poles or trees to advertise the sale. One sign is permitted on the property where the sale is occurring.

Collection of residential solid waste is performed by City personnel. Pick-up schedules, routes and other detailed information on waste disposal is mailed to City residents at the beginning of each fiscal year (October 1). Schedules may also be obtained in the main lobby of City Hall or by calling the Sanitation Division. The pickup schedule is altered for holidays. Golf Courses (561) 483-5235
The City of Boca Raton operates three golf courses: the Red Reef Executive Golf Course located at 1111 N. State Road A1A, and the 27-hole Municipal Golf Course (a regulation course and an executive course are on this site) located outside of the City limits at 8111 Golf Course Road. Annual permits are issued on a limited basis for play at both facilities. Consult The Recreator for information on time of operation, tournaments and clinics or call the above number.

The City's zero tolerance graffiti policy keeps graffiti defacement to a minimum. The City has a commitment to cover all graffiti within 24 hours. Call the hotline to report graffiti. If you witness graffiti activity in progress call the Police Services Department at 338-1333.

Gang Resistance Education And Training is provided by Police Services Department personnel to students in both the sixth and seventh grades. Call for additional information.
Gumbo Limbo Environmental Complex (561) 338-1473
Gumbo Limbo is an environmental educational facility located at 1801 N. Ocean Boulevard in Red Reef Park. The Complex was developed and is maintained through the joint efforts of the Greater Boca Raton Beach Tax District, the Palm Beach County School Board, Florida Atlantic University and the City of Boca Raton.
