League of Women Voters (561) 276-4898
The League of Women Voters is a non-partisan organization established to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in government. Membership is open to all citizens who are at least 18 years of age. The League publishes The Voters Digest which contains general voting information and a directory of elected representatives. The Digest is available in the City Clerk's office at City Hall or from the League.

The library is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 8:00 p.m. Call the Library or consult The Recreator for information regarding special Library programs. All residents, upon proof of residency, are granted checkout privileges. Because City taxpayer dollars fund the library, those who live outside the City boundaries must pay a fee in order to check out material. However, anyone is free to use the material on the premises.
In addition to the City's library, residents may enjoy limited use of the university libraries in the Boca Raton area, as well as the County library.

Residents of the City who wish to check material out of any of the County libraries must pay an annual fee of $30 (or $15 for six months). City residents are free to use materials on the premises.

Under State law, if you own a motor vehicle, you must renew your tag (vehicle registration) each year by midnight on your birthday. The Tax Collector's Office is responsible for processing applications for titles and issuing registrations for motor vehicles and boats. Locations: South Palm Beach County Courthouse Annex, 501 S. Congress Avenue, Delray Beach - from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Mobile Unit, Mondays from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Boca Raton Police Services Station, 100 N.W. Boca Raton Boulevard. Call for additional information, including which documents you must have with you at the time of registration.
