FIREFIGHTER AND/OR POLICE OFFICER APPLICANTS:
If you are interested in an application for the position of Firefighter OR Police Officer, you must also fill out the appropriate form below, in order for your application to be complete.)

Once complete, this information can be mailed, faxed, or dropped off in person, to the Human Resources Division Office, located in City Hall. The Human Resources Office is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (excluding holidays)

Failure to complete the online application (above) will result in an incomplete application. If your application is incomplete, the City of Boca Raton will not consider you for either the Firefighter or Police Officer position.

No Smoking Affidavit:

All bargaining unit positions require that the applicant be a non-smoker for at least one year prior to completion of application. An Oath of Affirmation attesting to this fact must be completed and submitted with all applications for Union positions. The City of Boca Raton has three (3) unions: F.O.P., I.A.F.F., and N.C.F&O.

A Typing Test May Be Required:

If the job you are applying for requires a Typing, Clerical, and/or Computer test, you will be notified when the screen appears asking for the date you took this test. To take one of these tests, you must apply IN PERSON at City Hall in the Human Resources office.
