LIVE TELECAST OF CITY MEETINGS
Since 1992, citizens have had the capability of "attending" council meetings while in the comfort of their homes by tuning in to the live telecast of City Council and Community Redevelopment Agency meetings on Channel 20. The upgrades that have occurred since 1992 have resulted in vastly improved viewing quality. Two tape-delayed telecasts of each meeting are shown to accommodate those viewers who cannot view or attend the actual meetings. In addition, videotapes of meetings can be borrowed by City Library patrons. The live telecast of the meetings of the Palm Beach County Commission and the School Board of Palm Beach County are also telecast on Channel 20.
COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARD
A Community Bulletin Board, the weekly calendar of board meetings, current city job opportunities, as well as various other informative videos produced in-house, can also be viewed on Channel 20. A schedule of Channel 20 programming is available in the City Hall Lobby. Channel 20 currently is available to approximately 27,000 of the City's households.
